The event, themed "AI-Generated 3D Scenes," adopted a multifaceted approach combining science popularization lectures, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on workshops to guide students through the developmental journey and technological breakthroughs of large language models. Tencent's expert team introduced the core capabilities of the Hunyuan large model, featuring live demonstrations of real-time 3D scene generation from text input, showcasing dynamic interactions between text, images, and 3D models. During the practical session, students gained first-hand experience operating the system, witnessing the transformative "magic" of AI technology as textual descriptions morphed into three-dimensional models, profoundly experiencing the powerful creative potential of artificial intelligence.

The event buzzed with excitement as students enthusiastically participated in the interactive sessions. Many remarked that the experience had not only expanded their understanding of artificial intelligence but also sparked a newfound interest in technological innovation.

CHATTHAN PUNCHARAT, a Thai international student from the College of Design and Innovation, created a distinctive 3D artwork during the workshop: "Drawing inspiration from the elegance of Chinese blue-and-white porcelain and the opulence of Thai traditional jewelry, I input the prompt 'jewelry design combining Thai golden pendants with blue-and-white patterns.' The AI then generated this piece featuring peacock-and-lotus motifs while preserving gemstone luminosity." She reflected, "This experience revealed AI's potential not merely as a tool, but as a novel bridge for cultural heritage preservation."
