The Launch Ceremony of the International Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Held Successfully

On the afternoon of April 23, the launching ceremony of the 2025 "Silk Road E-commerce Cup" Shanghai University International Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Free Trade Zone Bonded Area Silk Road E-commerce Special Recruitment Fair were held at Global Hub, No. 300 Yinglun Road. More than 40 representatives of international students from 20 countries in Shanghai University participated in the event under the leadership of Wang Lina, the Party secretary of the International Department.

At the beginning of the event, the students learned about the development and future prospects of various talent organizations and activities in the Free Trade Zone. Subsequently, the 2025 "Silk Road E-commerce Cup" Shanghai University International Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was officially launched. The leaders of the Free Trade Zone Administration, Waigaoqiao Group and Shanghai University jointly pressed their handprints, marking the launch of a new round of international student innovation and entrepreneurship practice.

After the signing of the Silk Road E-commerce Talent Cultivation Project, the special recruitment fair commenced. The students first visited the country-themed pavilions at Global Hub, immersing themselves in cross-border e-commerce culture and further broadening their international vision. Afterwards, the students actively engaged with enterprises in the Free Trade Zone to understand the industry needs. Some students handed in their resumes on the spot and discussed career planning with representatives of the enterprises.

This event has built a bridge for international students to practice "innovation and entrepreneurship" and connect with employment, highlighting the active exploration of Shanghai University in cultivating internationalized and interdisciplinary talents, and injecting youthful vitality into the economic and trade cooperation of the Belt and Road.
