Shanghai University's MBA Center recently hosted a welcoming event for the 2024 cohort of international students, aiming to help them adapt quickly, understand campus culture, and foster mutual exchange.

Over 40 participants attended the event, including Professor Sun Daning, a senior academic supervisor, Frey Sebastian, CEO of Vigeres and corporate mentor, and students from the GLMBA and GC&GIMBA programs.

Professor Sun delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the university's commitment to international education and support for each student. Ms Li from the International and Corporate Office introduced available resources, highlighting opportunities for overseas study, corporate exchanges, career development, and alumni networking.

Sebastian shared inspiring cross-cultural stories, encouraging students to embrace their journeys. Students also shared their academic and professional experiences, expressing excitement for future studies and extending best wishes to each other.

"The event we attended offered valuable insights that are applicable not only in the foreseeable future, but also in our current endeavors," said Mehamedzen Foziya Ismael, one of the new students.
