Over the past six years, Fudan University has made significant strides in development across its four campuses, completing new projects totaling 630,700 square meters and renovating 434,900 square meters, creating a more modern, green, and elegant school.

Upgraded dining halls, dormitories, and research buildings – as well as newly-added facilities within the past five years – provide more quality study and living spaces for teachers and students.

The Zhangjiang Fudan International Innovation Center has seen the completion of three research buildings since August 2023, focusing on next-generation information technology, life sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. The newly completed North Canteen in the Jiangwan campus is a comprehensive complex integrating dining, academic exchange, campus culture exhibitions, and practical activities.

Upgraded intelligent services facilitate more teachers and students. Fudan University has upgraded its information systems across research, teaching, and living scenarios.

In December 2020, the virtual campus card, Fudan Life Code, was introduced, enabling multi-scenario usage with a single code. The intelligent weighing system in dining halls, eco-friendly kitchen waste collection system, solar-powered trash bins, ubiquitous new energy vehicle charging stations, and convenient delivery lockers, all contribute to a more digital, intelligent, and green campus.

A more profound campus culture enables teachers and students to enjoy life. The Jiangwan Campus Stadium, a vibrant multifunctional space, integrates sports, leisure, study, and social activities. After its renovation, Xianghui Hall has become a dynamic venue for original plays and themed concerts, enhancing campus life.

In the future, more cultural enhancements will appear in public areas, enriching the campus culture for teachers and students. A campus filled with a sense of achievement and happiness is taking shape.
