From July 1 to 21, the 2024 Chinese Language Learning and Chinese Culture Summer Program, hosted by the International Cultural Exchange School of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), unfolded as an immersive experience for foreign participants.

The program has become a multi-dimensional learning and experience platform that involves Chinese learning courses, enterprise field trips, rich Chinese traditional culture and skills experience, and social practice activities. The participants improved their oral Chinese ability and experienced Chinese traditional skills firsthand.

"In the course, I learned that peaches symbolize longevity and bats symbolize good luck. Therefore, I did not hesitate to incorporate them into my enamel paintings," said Polina from Russia.

On July 19, all participants gathered together to celebrate the program's completion. They spoke about what they have seen and learned in the past three weeks, not only showcasing their language ability and stories of friendship, but also conveying their love and respect for Chinese culture and cross-cultural communication.
