The Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) has a significant focus on the cultivation of a high-quality and high-level talent team.

There are 1,977 faculty and staff members, including more than 1,500 teachers engaged in teaching and scientific research, among whom 61.4 percent hold doctoral degrees and 678 hold senior professional and technical titles.

SUES has 25 national talents, including four academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It also has nine experts who receive a special government allowance and 104 provincial and ministerial-level talents.
