2026 SISU International Student Job Fair (Africa Focus) Held in Hongkou Campus
On April 13, the 2026 SISU International Student Job Fair (Africa Focus) was held at the Hongkou campus. Designed to strengthen international talent exchange, expand career opportunities for SISU's international students, and support Chinese companies going global, the event centered on Africa's job market and offered African students at SISU a practical and informative career development session.

The Office of International Student Affairs at SISU invited corporate representatives to share insights on Africa's job market trends, key industries, talent demands, and cross-border career pathways. These recruiters offered a comprehensive look at career opportunities in Africa — from big-picture market conditions to hands-on job-seeking skills — helping students define their career directions and strengthen their competitiveness.

Huawei, a key supporting partner of the event, shared its global perspective and Africa-specific business experience. The company also detailed its hiring philosophy, talent development programs, and career paths for overseas roles — offering students a real-world look at what a leading global company looks for. The students listened attentively, asked questions, and engaged in discussions on topics such as job selection, resume polishing, interview preparation, and overseas employment policies. Many said the session was rich in content and highly relevant. They felt it not only deepened their understanding of Africa's job market but also gave them a clearer sense of their own career directions — a truly rewarding experience.

SISU plans to keep building better career support for its international students. The goal is to help them connect their experiences in China with opportunities around the world — and to grow professionally in the broader context of China-Africa cooperation and global development.
