My academic journey in China has been a formative experience that has shaped both my scholarly development and personal growth. It began in 2019 at Shandong University of Technology, where I completed my bachelor’s degree and built a strong foundation in computer science–related studies. During this period, I became familiar with China’s academic environment and developed the discipline and adaptability necessary for advanced study.
In 2024, I enrolled in the Master’s program in Computer Science and Technology at Donghua University in Shanghai, marking a significant step in my academic progression. Donghua University has provided a rigorous and supportive research-oriented environment that has strengthened my technical expertise and academic focus. Its location in Shanghai, a global center of innovation and technology, further enhances opportunities for academic exchange and research development.

Faculty members in my program have played a vital role in my academic growth through their strong research backgrounds and dedicated mentorship. Under their guidance, I am conducting research in transfer learning for Alzheimer’s disease detection, an interdisciplinary field combining artificial intelligence and healthcare applications. This work will be enhanced my research skills and reinforce my commitment to developing technology-driven solutions with meaningful social impact. In addition, my lab mates are supportive and approachable, and they have consistently assisted me in addressing academic challenges and research-related questions. Through close collaboration and regular discussions, we have not only improved our academic work but also shared our cultural backgrounds, fostering mutual understanding and a collaborative research atmosphere.

Living in campus has enriched my experience by immersing me in a multicultural academic community. Daily interactions with students from diverse backgrounds have strengthened my communication skills, collaborative abilities, and global perspective.

Although adapting to a new academic system and managing graduate-level research presented challenges, these experiences fostered resilience, independence, and problem-solving skills. As I progress toward completing my master’s degree in 2027, I regard my time at Donghua University as a pivotal stage in my academic journey and remain committed to academic excellence and responsible technological innovation.
