SUFE Welcomes New International Students for Spring 2026 Semester
A light rain greeted new international students as they arrived on campus on February 27. Despite the cool weather, excitement filled the air as over 100 students from 45 countries—including Belgium, Russia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the United States—began their journey at the College of International Cultural Exchange for programs lasting six months to one year.

To ensure a smooth orientation, the College had made comprehensive preparations in advance. Departments worked closely together to streamline registration procedures and provide thoughtful services, offering new students a warm and efficient welcome experience.
During the orientation, international student volunteers were actively engaged on the front lines, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping newcomers complete their registration procedures—going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every new arrival.

Each new student received a welcome gift package from the College, featuring SUFE-branded notebooks, T-shirts, and canvas bags. These thoughtful souvenirs gave international students a warm sense of belonging to the SUFE family. The packages also included practical resources such as a WiFi guide, a hand-drawn campus map, a calendar of key events for the spring semester, and an orientation schedule—all designed to help new students settle into campus life more easily. The day before registration, international student volunteers had already begun assembling these gift packages for the newcomers.
Registration day went smoothly, with orientation procedures carried out in an orderly manner.

A spring rain ushered in a new beginning. For every international student arriving at SUFE, this is an opportunity to get to know China—to explore, to experience, and to understand the country firsthand. Here in this vibrant, international city, may their journey be one of discovery and achievement.
