Welcome New Students! | Fudan's 2025 International Graduate Orientation

On September 1, 2025, Fudan University welcomed its new cohort of graduate students. This year, the university enrolled over 600 new graduate students from more than 80 countries worldwide, with significant increases in both the scale of international student recruitment and the diversity of countries represented. The university launched several new English-taught graduate programs, including a Ph.D. in Digital Technology and Communication Studies, a Master in International Public Administration, a Ph.D. in Global Public Policy and Governance, a Master in Environmental Science and Engineering, and a Master in Materials and Chemical Engineering. Additionally, new Chinese-taught programs were introduced, such as a Professional Master in International Affairs and a Professional Master in History and Tourism Management. The establishment of these programs has significantly enhanced Fudan University’s appeal to international students.

At Fudan University's International Student Affairs Center, new graduate students completed procedures including document verification, visa consultation, and registration with guidance from staff and volunteers. The entire process was efficient and seamless.

On the evening of September 1st, the Office of International Student Affairs hosted a comprehensive and engaging orientation session for new graduate students. The session covered multiple aspects including academic administration, campus life, legal regulations, and safe banking practices, providing international students with all-round support to help them integrate into the Fudan community more effectively and enhance their "Study at Fudan" experience.
