Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Successfully Holds the 2025 Shanghai International Summer School (TCM Program)
From June 3 to 27, 2025, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) successfully hosted the 2025 Shanghai International Summer School (TCM Program). As a fully upgraded edition of the Shanghai International Summer School, this program, themed "A Magical Journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine," attracted 23 international students from 13 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Poland, Germany, and Spain. Participants hailed from prestigious institutions such as Northwestern University (USA), Technische Universität Braunschweig (Germany), King's College London (UK), and the National University of Singapore. Additionally, current international and Chinese students were selected as "student volunteers" to participate throughout the program.

The program's curriculum encompassed a wealth of content, including TCM-themed lectures, clinical observations, traditional cultural immersion, therapeutic exercise training, and field studies. Participants engaged in clinical practice of the "Four Diagnostic Methods" at Longhua Hospital, acquired herbal medicine identification skills and modern production knowledge through the course "From Plants to Minerals: All Are Medicinal Treasures," and deepened their understanding of Chinese culture via Wuqinxi (Five-Animal Exercises), Peking Opera appreciation, and practical Chinese language courses.

At the closing ceremony, participants presented their learning outcomes through demonstration showcases.
