"Shanghai One Day" City Walk: Where Are the Green-hands Going?

The "Shanghai One Day" City Walk explores the city through three distinct groups, each focusing on a different aspect of Shanghai's rich tapestry.

Lifestyle Group: Participants began at Soong Ching Ling's former residence, immersed in the historical significance and cultural relics that tell the story of her life. Despite light rain, enthusiasm remained high as they proceeded to the iconic Wu Kang Building and the historic Wu Kang Road, filled with a mix of modern brands, local shops, and cultural sites. The day concluded with a night cruise on the Huangpu River, offering a stunning view of Shanghai's skyline.

Food Group: This group started their journey at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall to grasp the city's development and future. They then ventured to Tianzifang, where they experienced old Shanghai's charm and local delicacies. The night was capped with a cruise, allowing them to witness the city's vibrant night scenery and development.

Architecture Group: They visited the Sanshan Guild Hall, appreciating its Fujian-style architecture, and Zhangyuan, which blends traditional Shanghainese characteristics with modern international culture. The architectural walk concluded with a night tour on the Huangpu River, showcasing the city's architectural splendor and the Oriental Pearl Tower's illuminations.

Each group's itinerary provided a unique perspective on Shanghai's past, present, and future, culminating in a deep appreciation for the city's cultural depth and modern vitality.
