New York University Shanghai (NYU Shanghai) is the intellectual home to some of the world's best scholars, researchers, teachers and mentors. Hailing from more than 27 countries and recruited from top institutions around the world, its faculty comprises leading experts of 50 disciplines, from Mathematics to Data Science to Neuroscience and Finance.

Members of its faculty have been elected to the US National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and many other distinguished societies around the world. These members regularly publish their findings in leading scholarly journals and conduct research in state-of-the-art laboratories and 12 specialized research institutes and centers.
